Sanitary Pleasantries

The delight
of used tampons
burp from the drains
with weed toilet tissue
strung out
draped across the road’s gutter
picked with brown blossoms

bilge collection
sludge puddles close to the curb
where cars churn
throwing grey paste
in gut bursts across the pavement
splash up the walls of houses

its smell
sneaks in through the letter box
tasting fresh air
climbing into the back of my throat
to squat in the warmth.

About Graphite Bunny

I am a writer working in South Wales (UK). I love pizza, photography and moist clay. When it rains I catch drops in my open mouth. I create poetry, flash, absurdist snapshots and humorous fiction.
