Terrible Openings I Paid For

The opening of a book should break the reader apart completely – they should scream as another world bursts into the vacuum of reality. I push my paperback into my rucksack – I don’t care if the pages get damaged. My reflection scowls back from the window of the train – eight hours with nothing to do but drink polystyrene coffee and watch the moon sway over unseen countryside.

About Graphite Bunny

I am a writer working in South Wales (UK). I love pizza, photography and moist clay. When it rains I catch drops in my open mouth. I create poetry, flash, absurdist snapshots and humorous fiction.
